Sea Storm

An ensemble-devised dance theatre performance based on characters and events from Homer’s The Odyssey and Shakespeare’ The Tempest. An unsuspecting woman is plunged into a world where six sailors are caught in a storm. The story reveals a rotating cast of characters (played by the sailors) that include Odysseus, Penelope, Ferdinan, and Miranda as they encounter each other as well as various monsters and villains along their sea voyage. A haunting story of love and loss as a woman struggles to connect to sailors only to realize that she is the Sea Storm.
